Mr. Phub Tshering currently serves as the Internal Auditor at Kingston International College. In this role, he is responsible for examining and evaluating the financial operations and internal controls of the institution to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. His duties include conducting audits, reviewing financial statements, and providing recommendations for improving financial processes and controls.
Before joining Kingston International College, he gained substantial experience in finance and revenue management during his tenure at Bhutan’s national newspaper, Kuensel. Over the span of seven years at Kuensel, he was entrusted with significant responsibilities in the revenue and finance department. His role involved overseeing the financial health of the organisation, managing budgets, monitoring expenditures, and ensuring that financial practices met the required standards and regulations. His diligent management of the newspaper’s financial operations contributed to the sustainable financial growth and stability of Kuensel.
Mr. Tshering’s extensive experience in finance, coupled with his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to upholding financial integrity, has made him an asset in his current position. His background illustrates a robust blend of auditing expertise and practical financial management, reflecting his capability to enhance financial accountability and operational efficiency in diverse organisational settings.
